What to expect

Here is exactly what happens when you walk in.

Most people who come to us have never tried salt therapy, infrared or red light before. Not knowing what to expect is the most normal thing in the world — so we tell you first, and we never rush.

  1. Step 1

    You arrive

Come 5 to 10 minutes early. Parking is free and off-street, right here on Main Street.

  2. Step 2

    We welcome you

We say hello properly, then talk through the experience you have chosen — or help you choose one.

  3. Step 3

    We explain everything

What will happen, what it will feel like, and anything you need to do to prepare. Ask us anything.

  4. Step 4

    Your session

Touchless, private and quiet, in whatever attire suits the experience. Then return to your day feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Before you come

What to wear, what to bring, where to park.

What to wear

  • Salt Lounge: everyday clothing.
  • Private heat sessions (OxyBoost, Full-Spectrum Sauna, Summer Body Pod): swimsuit, undergarments or lightweight clothing according to comfort.
  • Restore Room: comfortable clothing with access to the selected area.
  • TARGET and TENS require direct access to clean, bare skin at the selected area.

Hydration

Arrive normally hydrated. Drink water before and after each session to avoid dehydration.

Plan your visit

  • Free off-street parking.
  • Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your scheduled visit unless your booking confirmation provides different instructions.
  • Running late? Call 812-818-6910 and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Frequently asked questions

Getting started

For the guest who has never tried any of this before — which is most of them.

What should I expect on my first visit?

We will welcome you, review your selected experience, explain what will happen and provide any preparation instructions before your session begins. If you are unsure which option to choose, call or stop in and we will help you find a comfortable starting point. The four steps above walk through it.

Do I need to know which experience I want before booking?

No. You do not have to know exactly what to choose before you arrive. Tell us what kind of pause or general wellness support you are seeking, and we will explain the available options without making medical recommendations. Schedule a complimentary consultation, call 812-818-6910 or ask in person.

How long are sessions?

The four core wellness experiences are 30 minutes for standard visits. First Visit and Take 20 Tuesday are special 20-minute offers. Restore Room timing varies by service and add-on. Please arrive with enough time to check in and receive instructions.

Which experiences are private, and which are shared?

The OxyBoost Elite Oxygen Sauna, the Full-Spectrum Sauna and the Summer Body Pod are private experiences. The Salt Lounge is a quiet shared lounge for up to six guests. Ask us if privacy or sharing an experience is important to your choice.

Can I bring someone with me?

The Salt Lounge is a quiet shared lounge with room for up to six guests. Tell us who is coming when you book and we will set it up for you. The other experiences are private.

The experiences

How the ones that sound alike actually differ. Each experience page carries the fuller description.

How is the OxyBoost different from the Full-Spectrum Sauna?

Both use full-spectrum infrared warmth. OxyBoost is a reclined, private experience that adds concentrated oxygen through a nasal cannula; the Full-Spectrum Sauna has traditional upright seating and adds red light early in the session. If you are unsure, tell us what you are after and we will point you at the right one.

Is the sauna very hot?

It is warm rather than fierce, and it builds gradually. If the heat is your main concern, say so when you arrive and we will start you gently.

Is my head inside the Summer Body Pod?

No. Your head stays outside and in the open air for the whole session. We will show you exactly how it works before you get in.

What if I do not like enclosed spaces?

The Salt Lounge and the Restore Room are the two experiences that are not enclosed: you sit or recline in an open room. The OxyBoost Elite Oxygen Sauna, the Full-Spectrum Sauna and the Summer Body Pod are enclosed to hold the warmth. Tell us when you book and we will help you choose the one that feels most comfortable.

What is the difference between the sauna’s red light and the Restore Room red light?

In the Full-Spectrum Sauna the red light is part of a warm, upright sauna session for the whole body. In the Restore Room you recline in a chair: the Full-Body Restore and Area Restore mats combine gentle warmth, red light and PEMF, while TARGET applies focused red and near-infrared light to one selected area, without heat and without PEMF.

Health and safety

What these experiences are, what they are not, and who should check with a professional first.

Are these medical treatments?

No. My Oasis 502 provides non-clinical wellness experiences. Services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease and are not a substitute for advice or care from a licensed healthcare professional.

What if I have a health condition, implanted device, take medication or may be pregnant?

Some wellness technologies may not be appropriate for every person. Before booking, review the service-specific safety information and the My Oasis 502 Client Waiver, which provides fuller details about participation risks and health considerations. Consult an appropriate healthcare professional when you have a health condition, implanted device, pregnancy, take medication or have another concern that may affect safe use. Medical clearance may be required before participation in some circumstances.

Booking and paying

Three ways to book, what happens when plans move, and paying with a health account.

How do I book?

Choose the method that is easiest for you: book through our website, call 812-818-6910 or ask for help in person at 502 E Main Street. All three are equally welcome, and the phone is not a lesser option.

Is Take 20 Tuesday available for Restore Room services?

No. Restore Room services are not part of the $20 Tuesday offer, but they are available on Tuesdays at their regular prices. See pricing for the full list.

What is the cancellation policy?

If your plans change, please call us on 812-818-6910 as early as you can and we will sort it out with you.

Can I use HSA or FSA funds?

My Oasis 502 accepts HSA or FSA payment when the service is eligible under the guest’s plan and supported by any documentation the plan requires, which may include a provider recommendation. Eligibility varies by plan. Guests should confirm requirements with their plan administrator; My Oasis 502 cannot guarantee reimbursement.
